Default AUT Cooling Plate Question

Hey everyone. I would like to know everyones opinion about the AUT Cooling plate. It looks nice under the hood, but does it show any signs of gains? Throttle response? Anyone have any experience with this? Is it recommended that I take out the stock cooling plate or just cover over it?

I've done some research, just want to see what people are doing.

Get it. It's good.
You definitely remove the stock plastic junk before you put it on.

I believe at high speeds you will feel more of a difference, since more air be will be directed the intake. At stop and go driving I highly doubt you will feel anything.

If you remove the plastic when you put in an AUT, wouldn't that reduce the amount of air that the radiator gets? I thought the OEM plastic was to direct air into the radiator?

It still will... Or if you really concerned alot of people just cut out the left side of the oem 'cooling plate' so that air can be redirected into the intake, and the excess can be directed to the radiator.

I ripped out my air deflector and all is good.
don't have the AUT anymore, but I noticed less heat-soak at low speeds in traffic. the plate blocked out engine heat and drew air from above the rad. I didn't notice my car over heating either since taking out the OEM deflector.

Wish they had something like the AUT in aluminum or something, I hate how cf looks on black cars
