so would this benefit someone like myself with a completely stock s2K? i want to keep a 100% stock look, but would like a slightly more aggressive exhaust note. so...Asura HFC with stock header and exhaust...waste of money?

^ Yes, would probably decrease performance going up to 3". He also does other sizes but I'm not sure if he goes as low as the stock 60-63mm...

He also does TP's if you're into that sort of thing. You always want your cat to match your exhaust piping, otherwise you'll get a lot of turbulence and unsmooth airflow.

Get a 3" catback to match. You'll be very happy.

My Asura HFc came today, with now CARB EO number on it at all.
Do you guys really have a CARB EO number on it, or you have some other random number stamped on it?

If you have the carb eo, please post it.

Mine just has this: "N/CE 59959 0411"

Did you pass smog with it on?
Sounds like there is no no CARB EO number, which is consistent with what the Asura guy said when I called him.

not due for a smog for another year. If it doesn't pass, swapping to a stock cat is not too bad, but yes, being told that it is CARB approved and not passing smog would suck. we'll see when that time is due...but I hear HFCs in general may not pass smog because of the nature of it (maybe the new ones will pass?).

Oh lord, this is not good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one.
