yea the driver's side is really off. the only way to really correct that is to lower the entire hinge.

I know you pointed it out, but that is unacceptable. That is "take it off, ship it back, and demand a full refund" bad fitment.

^ I don't understand why you didn't contacted me in the 1st plce regarding your post. I would have easily communicated with you on this situation and resolve for ya.

1st off, have you tried removing the trunk springs? It looks like you haven't. As how mine fitted, I removed both trunk springs. Due to the weight of the cf vs the oem. The springs are made to compress the oem trunk and not the cf. This is causing a lot of stress which makes it pop up even more. My fitment on the left side lifts just a bit and fitment was surely better than seibon, cwings, etc. I'm sure if you remove the trunk springs it will settle down just a bit.

Let me know!

^ hey rashad,

Not a problem! Just wanted to let you know I am here for you.

Let me know how it works out, but best thing to do is have the trunk springs removed. You can use a long solid screw driver or socket to remove the trunk springs.

You're simply using the tool to untwist the trunk springs, there are no screws or bolts to undo. Just wanted to clarify that with ya.

All of the mastergrade trunks we have installed do the same thing. The problem is the trunk is so light taht the trunk springs are causing too much force. Its the same thing with the mastergrade 350z hatches, they are too light for the install hardware causing it to pop up on one side. We just removed both trunk springs and adjusted it where needed, almost 100% OEM fitment everytime. Good luck !

gonna try this tomorrow morning! hopefully being under the force of the springs for so long hasn't caused the trunk to warp
