Default Asuka CF trunk

i bought an Asuka CF trunk through Tommy @ GoTuning Unlimited about 2 months ago and just got my car back and got around to putting it on yesterday. it is an awesome looking trunk and is the only design available other than the same old OEM shape offered by Seibon, Chargespeed, J's, etc... my stock trunk+oem wing weighed ~35 lbs (rough estimate). this thing weighs about 8 or 9lbs (rough estimate). the driver's side is a raised about 2mm more than i'd like. the passenger side fits perfectly. but they're made only once they're ordered so i guess some fit better and some fit worse. it's naked right now, but as soon as i get one little stud i'm going to be slapping on my APR GTC-500 wing. excuse the little crack in my rear bumper--i got rear ended last night

preview of what's to come:

according to APR, it's supposed to be the biggest wing you can buy for this (and most other) cars

You bought Chris's wing?! That thing is going to look enormous on a non-widebody!

yeah i got it for a great price and i like the high mount look. i figured it'd look similar to how the big J's 3D one looks on non-widebodies, except a little more extreme. if i decide it's too big later on i'll sell the wing and trunk as a combo.

I heard Asuka is out of commission until they find a new maufacture. The Mastergrade trunk is the same mold for $550 shipped.

OP: trunk looks good, I heard if you take out the trunk spring? it will work.

Windchaser: have u tried coating it with Klasse AIO? It worked well to keep away oxidization when I had my Integra.
