Default APR Front Splitter on AP1 w/o lip

I've been thinking about purchasing one for mine but not sure yet. I was wondering if people have experienced lower fuel economy due to the increased drag or if it could be adjusted to about the same level as the stock bumper so there is not drag. Also, if someone has pics of an APR front splitter on an AP1 without a front lip, it would be great if you could post them up so I can get an idea. Thank you

It's the same thing if you take the lip off and add the splitter, your bumper just wont have the indentions like an Ap2.

A splitter does not increase drag, its creates differentials in high and low pressure resulting in a net increase in downforce. You're confusing it with a wing spoiler which will indeed cause drag as a bi-product of the downforce created.

Hi Damir314
the above piece is not from us but I wanted to let you know we can custom make a CF splitter in addition to many other different models we have. More info can be found HERE
