Hello everyone,

I am thinking about getting the AP2 Supersprint cat back as it should sound decent without any drone while keeping the stock exhaust look.
Unfortunately I cannot find any decent sound file / video of it.

Is there anyone around who has a decent video or could make one? With cat and supersprint cat-back exhaust

Wouldn't do you any good if you could find it.

The recording mic will clip the sound level and even if it didn't your PC speakers couldn't reproduce it. There are no shortcuts here, you need to hear the exhaust from both inside the car (where you will be) and outside (where your neighbors will hear it). A video showing the meter readings with a certified sound meter may help but this won't show the annoying resonances at different engine speeds.

Assurances here that "it's just a little louder than stock" and "there is no drone" cannot be trusted. Lots of Invidia exhausts are sold used because they were purchased based on bad information.

Not sure if I can agree. For the UK Mod there are some excellent before/after videos where the recording + audio quality is perfectly fine. Also my Sennheisers HD600 with DAC+AMP are perfectly fine for the playback

Maybe someone trustworthy can describe the sound to me then? I kinda love the UK Mod with 38-44mm...maybe its similiar to that?

I have the non-resonated on a 2006. It looks good but its very loud and drones.
A little less drone would be nice but I enjoy the setup.

Audio clip won't tell you exactly how it'll sound, but it'll give you an idea. I've heard the Supersprint with the resonator years ago. Can't really remember exactly how much drone there was except it's minimal compared to most other exhausts on the market. It doesn't help that very few people own them.. I just know it's the only exhaust (resonated version) I would ever buy for my car, if I buy one at all.
