ap2 oem seats to fit in the new models 2006+
Hey guys!
Sorry if there is already a post regarding this. So I want to put the Tan ap2 oem seats (older model with the net on the headrest) in my LBP 2006 s2000. What will I have to do to make this work because I've heard that it will not just fit. Do I need to get the ap2 seats with its orignal seat rails? Any help or a link will be greatly appreciated!

All you have to do is swap your '06 seat rails onto the older seats. I have read that only the passenger side rail is different, but I cannot confirm this.
I recently did the opposite of what you are doing (I put '08 seats in my '01) so I'm sure that swapping rails is all that needs to be done.

And your SRS light will come on since there is no weight sensor in the passenger seat.

The driver side rails are the same for every year. If you don't install the weight sensor then your airbags won't deploy at all. Another problem with the passenger side is that older seats don't come with the side anchor for your seat belt.
I've been through this whole process so many times (accidentally bought '05 seats and an 00' seat belt for my '07) and I'll tell you, it was a real pain in the ass.
Although, if you drill a few holes, it's not impossible to get this setup to work. Older passenger side rails can even fit on three bolts if you (and possibly a friend) try real hard.
