Default AP2 companion flange into AP1 Trans

OK guys I need some help as I could really find a clear answer.

I have a 00 s2000 and a few weeks ago I decided to sell my diff just because there was a ap2 diff with 4.57 gears listed here for sale. I have purchased the ap2 diff but now i have started to get impatient and want to drive my car now.
I was planning on sending the diff to puddy dad to have the input flange changed but then decided that while I was sending the diff to him I might as well have the diff turned into one of his stage 2 or 3, however I don't want to have the down time that it would take for that to happen. So then came the idea to buy another diff that I saw on ebay near puddy dad and having him buy it change the input shaft and then sending it to me. Problem is that it would still take too long for that and then came the question "Do I really want to send another $700-$850 on a temp diff ? as I would still be sending him the diff I have with the gears to be built.

So then I came to the thought of changing the companion flange on the trans and buying a ap2 drive shaft and running the diff as is for the time being, so that brings me to this what is all required to change the companion flange ? Is there anything like the crush collar on the trans that have to be changed out at the time of the swap? or is it a straight forward job ?

Any help would be appreciated.
I have found a 05 drive shaft on ebay about 4 hours from me so I could drive to pick it up or just ship it and then then parts fron majestic depending if I have to order everything that is on the back of the trans is about $150 with next day shipping, here is a list of the parts:
40441-PCY-A00 FLANGE, COMPANION $35.49 $35.49
91201-PCY-003 OIL SEAL (40X60X9) $5.64 $5.64
91005-PCY-003 BEARING, BALL (31X55X13) $13.08 $13.08
91302-PCY-003 RING, BACK-UP (28MM) $2.09 $2.09
95701-08040-08 BOLT, FLANGE (8X40) $0.70 $0.70
90402-PL9-000 WASHER, SPRING (27MM) $3.21 $3.21

Its a straight forward Job!!! I did this one my AP1 all you need is to buy the Flange, Nut, A new seal, and then dont forget the NEW bolts for your AP2 drive shaft. If you have any other questions just PM me!!
