Ap2 to Ap1 Headlights
Hey Guys!!
I have a quick question, I have already the full set of Ap2 headlights for my swap, I'm just waiting for my Ballats/Igniter shipment.
* My question is if I need to aligned the lights to be in a proper level or they come pre-aligned already from manufacture. I know the driver side is a little lower then the passenger side but if they come pre-aligned I think ill be just fine.
Any comments or suggestion will be welcome.
Thanks!

I'm not to sure if they are pre-aligned or not. The best you can do is put them on, then park in front of a flat wall and see how they are. If they need adjusting, do so.

Yep just the taillights, the headlights are direct bolt in if you have the ap2 ballast and ignitors. The taillights you have to cut your car, and modify the electrical connectors. I actually bought the ap2 harness also and just soldered the new harness in so it was direct plug in.

so you need AP2 ballast and ignitors if you want the AP2 headlights?
How much are those (as if the headlights are expensive enough)
I was thinking of doing this swap but didnt know I would need the ballast and ignitors too

You only need them if you want it direct plug and play. If you want to keep your ap1 ballast and stuff, you will actually have to cut some of the plastic behind the headlight to get the bulb into the housing. You will also have to rig up something with metal brackets to mount the ballast to the back of the headlights since the ap1, and ap2 ballast have different mounting points. I see the ap2 ballast and bulbs and ignitors go on here for around $200 used. I bet they are pretty expensive new.

Yea, That’s way I bought the Ap2 ballats/igniter because I didn’t want to go with the mess of cutting and adding to the Ap2 new headlights. You might have problems down the road.
