Ap1 rear bumper cap
Hi I recently got my rear bumper replaced by a body shop and I noticed that the exhaust cap was molded onto the bumper, I always thought it was removable b/c ive seen people put single exhaust caps on.... is the single cap just a cap that goes over the old one or is the new bumper I got not oem. If someone can clarify this that would be awesome.
-Thanks

there are 2 caps available
the one made by ztec in the link above, which you basically have to get second hand as they've been out of stock for the last 6 months. the ztec is a better fitting piece overall, and i'm unaware of any mounting issues.
the other option is the carbon fiber gtmotoring piece which i was not pleased with as it is a pain in the ass to install because the 3M tape it comes with is hit or miss. also it is about 1/8th of an inch short from side to side and therefore you can see the original black (from the bumper) on either side. i was thinking of having it epoxied (tried myself and that failed to hold) by a pro body shop.
there is no cap that simply fills the hole itself, as seen on some accords and dodge chargers
aCab is referring to the same cap that i describe, and everyone else
