Has anyone tried the Manzo USA rigid collar Kit that runs for $108 vs the $230 Rigid Collar / Spoon kit?

It's $108. So be that cool guy and buy it. Install them and throw your review onto S2ki comparing the copy vs. the Rigid Collar.

I have the Spoon/Rigid Collars...it makes the car drone more and it makes sense.

I have the manzo kit on my car. Can't really compare to the spoon but they fit fine and I had no problems installing the front or rear. Can't really screw these up. They're just aluminum rings.

One of my friends went with the blox racing version, $100 from vex motorsports

One thing I did notice compared to the spoon is that the spoon kit has a taper for the collar which makes alignment and installation that much easier into the frame

I decided to give these a shot. Figured what the hell, my alignment keeps losing its spec after a trackday so i figured wth. 4 alignments this year alone.

I went with spoon, figure if everyone makes such a bitch about replica parts why cheap out. Plus, I figured the spoons would have the best corrosion-proofing.

I installed them and immediately noticed a difference. Its not snake oil. Idk what they do, but they make the car more rigid.

I also installed the spoon ones. Noticed a difference immediately. 100% this makes a difference!
the car feels more rigid, especially when the road is imperfect..
Not yet tried it in track, but will try it soon enough

Just had these Spoon Collars installed and Ive got to say its slightly improved my bumpsteer and car feels a little more stable on freeways and even just driving around my car feels better. My car use to sway left and right on the freeway when driving on those grooved lines that are supposedly rain drainage and or hydroplane prevention. But it actually fixed that and car feels so much more stable now. It also made my car slightly vibrate just little more but its really slightly though, doesn't bug me at all. My cars an AP1 with 200k + miles and plenty of clutch changes and Im sure wear and tear is a factor here. I would say try it to believe it. Go for the cheaper ones if you feel its a rip off. I think its over priced as well but wanted to try it out to see for myself and it didn't fail me.

I have a set of Spoon ones inbound, will be going through my entire suspension before next year. As a higher mileage AP1 anything new definitely helps!

I installed a set on the front. Front subframe was way off after I had a shop do my clutch. It fact I couldnt get it straight without pulling it with another car attached to the subframe. I got it straight and put the collars in to keep it that way. I think its more than worth it to prevent any movement in the subframe.
