Default Anyway to fix the ap1- ap2 tailpipes sticking out

So I am thinking about getting a ap2 bumper for my 02 ap1, I've browsed the forum but havent found the answer I was looking for. Is there any way to fix the tailpipe ends on the ap1 to flush it with the ap2 bumper and not have it stick out?

The piping that the tips fit on, are longer on an AP1 muffler than AP2. Gonna have to cut the pipe a little for a perfect fit.

Thats what I was thinking, the ap2 tips sticking out way to much on a ap1.

Take it to an exhaust shop and have the tip part shortened. Voila...

After some looking around I think its the length of the slide on covers itself rather then the length of the tailpipe coming from the muffler.
