Who's dropped only an inch with springs (if possible).. hows the rid compared to stock and what brand of springs?

Just did mine bout 3 weeks ago with Eibach 1" all around. I thought the stock suspension was gonna suffer and feel different, but it actually still feels good. Nice drop and rides like nothing ever happened.

1" on Tein Flex Coilovers....i know it' not just springs but it's the best way to go...no too low and yet not stock...i occasionally scrape the tip of the front bumper on steep hills...but best setup overall imho

+1 for eibach springs. No noticiable change in ride comfort. Hell, I changed them and my fiance had no idea anything was different until I told her 2 months later.

Keep in mind that using lowering springs on stock shocks will cause premature failure. But I personally think the Espelirs are the best drop off stock shocks and lowering springs, and I have only heard good things about them.

Eh, that maybe so but the stock shocks are pretty stout and can probably take a 1 inch drop for quite some time.

I tossed the springs in there to see if I can live with it lowered around my area. By the time the stock shocks fail, I'll probably be ready to upgrade anyway (either to coilover or just install Koni's).

I suppose anyone thinking about this mod should consider changing the shocks. Or not...

It's inevitable that the stock shocks with lowering springs will cause premature failure... It produces more wear on the valving of the shock because it is operating in a more compressed and narrow range. I'm not saying it won't last long it just won't last as long as the stock shocks with stock springs.
