Thumbs up Anyone know where to buy thread reducers?

Well I am looking for thread reducers/adapters for a shift knob with a 16mmX1.50 thread pattern. I am looking for a place that sells these for that size outside diameter and have all size inside diameters, metric and inches.
I am trying to make some and would be easier if I just drilled it out 16mm and got a thread reducer/adapter to fit any car and would also be countersunk this way also which would be nice.
Please point me in the direction if you have any ideas?
I googled it and did not see much other than ones sold for a particular shift knob for like 10 or more a piece. I am sure it ca be had from some sort of hardware selling place in bulk or something.

mcmaster carr

or try TWM, they see nylon threaded insert for their knobs but not sure that's the size you need

i remember your thread about cutting/tapping the shifter, what's so special about the knob if you dont mind me asking?

Well I am making shift knobs and want the whole to be drilled to 16mm so i can fit any size reducer in it.
Was gonna make it set for this car but want it to fit for my brothers and friends cars and all too.
Just making weighted stainless steel ones.

Tried the mcmaster carr place and find things that look real close but don't seem to be the correct size really. Also seems to be 23 for one of them that might work but most of the ones are locking there so think I need to find another place. Or maybe I'll give them a call in the morning and see what they have available.
