I don't own a front strut bar, so i can't speak from experience. But in my research, it seems that most people find front upper tower bars useless on these cars. I know that didn't really answer your question, and i am not bashing you wanting a front bar, i am just giving you my input.

This one ties into the a-arms, so it will.

i noticed that i had a lighter wallet, a better looking engine bay, and...i want to say the ride felt more rigid but then again, it might be in my head. besides that i felt the stiffness of the chassis when i turn. sort of like theres less body roll i guess but i like it

Was the install easy? Did you have to cut or drill anything or is this a direct fit bolt-on?

Yeah for looks only really. As for stainless or idk. If it is no point getting a name brand over this one. All do basically nothing. A have a regular stb which is nice so I have something to hold on to under the hood. Got one for $30 shipped from eBay.

Most STBs do nothing. This one will improve your steering feel slightly since it attaches to the steering rack. I bought the eBay one you listed. It was a real PITA to fit properly, I had to actually enlarge one of the holes to get it to fit right.

I can definitely feel additional feedback through the steering wheel, which was my main goal.
