Default any trouble closing hood after cooling plate?

Has anyone had problems with their hood closing normally after putting in a cooling plate? I installed my AUT plate today and had to push down on the hood to get to close. Before I could just drop the hood and it would shut all the way

I did, but just by a tiny bit. I think it is the rubber grommet that holds the front of the bumper down. Did you try to adjust the two side bumpers down a bit?

you can move the lower hood latch up to compensate.
i like it fairly snug so i dont mind pushing down on the hood to close it.

its actually the hood release latch. just loosen the bolts and adjust up as needed.
note to reference its original position.

Mine didn't fit at first. I readjusted the screws and the order in which I tightened them and now my hood closes fine.

Snug is better than a rattle

I have to set the hood down then push it closed. I have always done this anyways because I hate slamming the hood shut.
