Any idea about this exhaust?
Hello all,
I recently purchased a 2006 S2000 that was lowered with an aftermarket exhaust. The owner said the exhaust was custom made and imported from Turkey (who knows if thats legitimate....). I've been looking for a completely stock S2000, so needless to say, I went back to stock exhaust and plan on adjusting the height as well.
The exhaust itself has a butterfly valve that is connected to the battery terminal through some likely heat resistant wiring. It has a remote that will open or close the valve that the previous owner left in his cup holder storage to adjust on the fly. Worked flawlessly during the brief time I left that exhaust on, but just not my taste.
Trying to find out some information about this exhaust, and if it has any value in me trying to sell....or just scrap. From the research I've done, only thing I could find was a company making Varex that looks somewhat similar.

Here are some photos of the exhaust on the car, and now on my driveway with the stock exhaust back on. Any help would be appreciated!

Yup that's how it works. With the valve closed it definitely silences the noise and redirects the exhaust through a bypass route and re-enters distal to the valve (you can see an entry point). With valve open, well it's loud. Too loud for me.

$150-$250 probably. Just for the novelty of what it is if someone thinks its cool. The muffler and pipe material looks pretty standard budget in quality. Muffler looks like the base of the tip aren't that great with signs of leakage.
