The retail price is what made me think it was a good deal especially when I saw some used ones going for 1300-1500. I also picked up a ASM Gt strut bar for 350 from the same guy which although not cheap enough to make it a steal still was a good deal.

They do make fake ones of the x brace so be careful

What should I look for on determining if its authentic or not? I've gotten closeup with it and the pictures on gotuning and I don't see any differences but I also don't know how well the fakes are made. I believe NRG makes one also?

Excellent prices on both items. The ASM bar goes for $800 new, I just payed $600 for a lightly used on in the bay area.

It may or may not have the 'Succeed Sports' badge on the right. I don't think any of the replicas had the ASM badge in the center.
