Default Amuse R1 Powerhouse Header

I wasn't really in the market for a header but I found an amuse r1 local for 800.00. I had a few questions. Would this header be a wise mod with only a test pipe and some flow masters being the only thing done to my car? Also is 800 a fair price? Looks almost new.

The stock manifold is quite a nice design, but there is definitely power to be made and weight to be lost with a well made lightweight design like the Amuse, J's, Mugen, etc.

$800 is quite a good deal.

$800 is a hell of a deal depending on the condition of the header.

That's like $300 per additional HP. No thanks.

its not just about the power either. if you are gonna get a tune then it will help as well. but majority of the the performance will be from the weight savings. that stock header is crazy heavy.

I went ahead and picked it up going to give it a good polish and try and throw it on shortly. Appreciate the responses.

This is what it currently looks like. Don't believe there will be any problem at all making it look a lot better. I know the runners near where it mounts to the engine will come out great and that's really all I'm worried about sense that's all that will be seen without getting under the car. I'll update when I can get the drill to it and shine it up.
