Default aftermarket wheel - is it possible to keep cruise?

Im thinking about ordering a nice quick release for my s2k, is there any way to keep cruise control? I searched for a write up or something but only found a buncha hits on putting s2k wheels in other cars lol

I don't believe there are any actual electronics in the steering wheel other than the buttons. I'm sure you could tap into the wiring harness, and build your own button assembly.
