So I have an AP1 with the UK exhaust mod. I love the sound but the look is hmmmmm... stock. I would like something to spruce it up. The OEM tip is about 3.5" OD, I am looking for something bigger, that is maybe a little longer. The OEM tips are tucked far under the car. Nothing ridiculous, maybe 4" OD, ovalish with a slight angle cut.

Anyone use aftermarket tips on the OEM exhaust?

Here is a link to what I did, I used the Nissan 350Z exhaust tips on my AP1 The look is still "stock" but more aggressive than the AP1 tips.

Great subtle improvement. I am looking for something a little simpler to install though.

I understand lol, the Z tips are a challenge since they do require a lot of work to use.

I have also used Ford Motor Sport slip on GT Mustang tips. The GT FMS tips are designed to slip over the factory tips that come stock on the 05 to 09 Mustang GT. they give the GT a more aggressive exhaust look. They still require a weld job or a tight sleeve around the S2000 exhaust pipe before installing.
