Aftermarket steering wheel and tilt angle?
Hey all, had a question regarding aftermarket steering wheels and the "tilt" angle that the stock steering wheel provides.
I want to put on my nice steering wheel and quick release from my previous car onto my S, but I had a concern on how it would sit since the s2k does not have tilt adjustment. Since an extended hub length usually accentuates the angle of tilt, does the stock s2000 steering wheel have any kind of tilting upwards? I am looking for that as I am a 6 footer and need a steering wheel that lays closer to me, as well as higher in tilt.
I tried searching, but it was really difficult to find any solid answers on my tilt question.
I also wanted to ask for suggestions on where to get the cheapest steering wheel hub for the s2k? I know I would need one with a defeater for the airbag.
TIA!

I recently installed a Spoon wheel in my S using the Shorty Works Bell hub with a NRG quick release. I went with the shorty because it allowed me to keep the wheel closest to stock position. Running a longer hub would tilt the wheel up slightly but it would also make the wheel very close to you which i feel would be uncomfortable. Hope that helps.

aftermarket hub doesn't give you more tilt, it just increase the distance with a longer hub. the angle of tilt is stock with whatever hub you have
thanks for the answer guys!
