Hey all,

I've seen a lot of videos online of people bending these 'quality' aftermarket steering wheels. While I'm sure those were knockoffs, I'd still like some recommendations/impressions from you guys that are running them. I'm not brand loyal or anything like that, nor am I trying to build any sort of themed show car build.

I like this type though, as featured on Singer Porsche

Yeah, Momo seems to have a lot of quality wheels. I also checked the "Official Steering Wheel" thread, but A LOT of the pics no longer work and many of people people don't really give any kind of feedback on the wheel. They posted a pic and disappeared.

I'm thinking of going 330mm to free up some leg room.

I picked up a 350mm Nardi deep corn wheel purely because I got the whole setup as a package deal.

Turned out to be a solid purchase. Puts the wheel in a much better driving position if you're around the 6 foot mark and need to move the seat back to accommodate your legs. The deep corn also pushes the wheel closer to you and frees up a lot of leg room.

Find an authentic wheel used, its not THAT expensive, I would rather have something that I know won't bend than take a risk on some ebay wheel.

I have a personal neo grinta 350mm. Personal is made by Nardi. I believe it was around $230.. May have been $330 not sure. Anyway, just do some research and make sure the wheel and size you choose won't block the tach/cluster. I feel like a 330mm of my wheel would but can't be sure. At my height (6'1") and oem seat/seating postion mine works pretty well. The wheel is offset with the center closer to the top of the wheel so I did feel like I lost a smidge of leg room but I have an aftermarket seat on the way and that will take care of that.

Besides brand names, here are some other choices you have to decide on before you go shopping.

330mm or 350mm (oem is 360mm)?
standard or deep dish style?
Leather, Suede, or solid?
Quick release Version 1, 2, 3?

I currently have a nardi 330mm Deep Corn



Great size for me personally but it wasn't cheap. It's set up with a Works Bell short hub + NRG quick release. Steering wheel sit closer to me than OEM meaning it's further from turn signal, wipers, volume, and other bits. Still able to reach without letting go of the wheel and i have small hands.


cons: I can no longer see my instrument cluster but who needs that anyway?

Didn't have it in my S2000, but I had a Nardi Deep Corn as well (330mm) and absolutely loved how it felt. Definitely worth the price.

Im currently running a Momo Monte Carlo 330mm. Im a small guy only 5'7 but i really like the small wheel. It did free up some leg room which is great, but it also gives the car a more direct feel.
