Default AEM Intake

Hello everyone.

Can anybody with the AEM V1 intake tell me if it has the drilled hole on the bottom like the V2?

Looks like AEM updated their V1 intake, received mine today and it has a hole on the bottom pipe like the V2.

It's not necessarily a bad thing, miss there to drain water out if any gets in there. But I know for sure they used to not have it because the V2 is the first intake that came with it. Because it couldn't use a air bypass valve like the v1 could.

Yea but I just don't see the point since the V1 doesn't angle up like the V2. I honestly just don't like the duck bill valve, it seems super flimsy.

Use silicone to lock it in, I've had mine for 4 years no with no issues.
