Not newbie questions at all... I was in the same boat as you and had a lot of questions as well. If you want additional information, PM SanMarinoCpe . He's the one that answered my 8million questions, got me the parts and worked with Jim on the install.
Hope that helps! If you lived in the area, I'd let you go drive my car and see how it feels (the gears would probably make it feel a bit different, but you'd get the idea)
Thanks for the kind words and for answering my questions. Much appreciated. Your setup sounds fantastic. Hopefully one day I'll have a similar setup on my car

If you are not mechanically inclinded, I would NOT reccomend this to be your first DIY job. You have to drop the motor down so you can remove the transmission to replace the clutch.

Look at Hardtopguy.com for info on various clutch setups, also you can do some searches to find deals on the competion clutch Mocky used. Most will come with a new friction disk, after the plastic alinment tool, it's the cheapest part of the clutch.
Thanks for the info! So will I need a new clutch to go with a new FW and PP or can I use my stock clutch with a more aggressive FW and PP?

You can, but for $90 why not just get a new one.

Also, you might have a hard time finding a new PP that doesn't come with a new disk.

oh, it's only $90? I thought it was much more. This is what the OP said everything costed him:

$350 to install Gears
$420 to install Clutch

$695 for the Clutch
$349 for Flywheel
$295 for the gears

So to me, it looked like he was saying that a new clutch was $695. I'm confused. Or is it that the PP is $695 and that includes a new disk?

Once again - sorry for the newbie questions
A "clutch" includes a disk, pressure plate, throw-out bearing and alignment tool.
