Well I recieved my gears today, sad to say there is a small nick on the end of the pinion gear. So I will have to ship it back and switch it out with a new one. Below are some pics of them.

We'll Its been a few months now and a few thousand miles later and the 4.77 gears are working great! I would suggest this modification to just about everyone. It pulls much stronger than before, night and day difference. You notice it the most when you really get on it and go through the gears. Normal driving offers little difference.
I had it cyotreated by http://www.300below.com/ and talk to Bob Reid whom was extremely helpful and still calls to check on how everything is working.
There is no gear whine with the install which was done by ELD performance in Millersville MD. Highway driving at 75-80mph wasn't an issue like some say, alittle high on the rpm's but not an issue for me. I now have a Ap2 tranny which is alittle better with the longer six gear.
Just an update for those that are interested in the 4.77 gears.

I love my 4.77s but if I were in a position to go FI, I'd do it in a heartbeat and trade the first person I see for their stock pumpkin

I do have the same gears (4.77)
However there is one thing I cannot quite believe in the quoted statement:
the AP2 tranny has the same final gear ratio in 5th & 6th gear as the AP1 tranny does. Only gears 1-4 are shorter.
Are you sure you rev lower now with the AP2 tranny in 6th gear at the same speed as you did with the AP1 tranny in 6th gear?
