3M Wide Body?
I have a really stupid question that shouldn't even be asked, but does anyone has their rear fender flares held on by 3M? I really wanted to put ASM rear fender flares without having to drill into my quarter panel but I'm not sure how well that would hold on. They're really light and I'm just very afraid to do anything that cannot be reversed. If anyone else has done it, let me know. My duck lip is only being held on with strong 3M so I'm just wondering how well and long 3M could last above my wheels before it falls off

You realize for the asm or any over fender you have to cut a sognificant section of the quarter panel anyways right? A few holes to secure the overfender hardly seems like something to worry about after cutting the panel.

My thought exactly. Its not a functional over fender otherwise and will look silly having the wheel at stock offset to clear the un removed stock fender with a cosmetic over fender stuck on the panel.

Try to imagine what would happen if you put wheels and tires on that were wide enough to require flares, but never cut the stock panel?
The tire would be getting up by the stock panel opening on every bump.
This is why everyone is saying drilling holes is not the issue when carving up the stock panels is required.

The point of an over fender is for a larger wheel + tire. If you do not cut your quarter panel, then there is no point.
I feel that based on your worries, you should just avoid any over fender and stick to a stock body.
Find a kit, or a look that compliments the stock body, or hell stay 100% oem.
