what's stopping the car is tire friction and you can only get the car stop shorter with a good brake balance. most of the time people just look at the size of caliper and rotor, increased brake tq is only one small part of the whole formula for brake balance.

The brake kit is very nice. The directions are very well written, and the kit even includes shims to make sure that the caliper is centered to the rotor(as all cars have slight variances). The 8 pistons are small in diameter and spaced to disperse pressure over the total pad area. The only issues with the kit are:
1) The supplied brake lines are way to long
2) The supplied brake line "holders" are totally useless, and very poorly thought out.

SOMEONE did the engineering behind these brakes. Now the fact they might not stop the car fast is a totally legitimate argument, but you not knowing if K-Sport has an R&D department is the worst reason to buy or not to buy these brakes.

I have see that same caliper with a G4 logo (http://cgi.ebay.com/G4-8-Pot-330mm-B...QQcmdZViewItem), D2 (http://www.d2racing.com/content/products/big_brake_kits) and a xenda (they were on ebay a couple of months ago for $1400) logo on it.
I will stick with my project mu 4 pots. They will work fine for me untill i can find a set 16 piston caliper .
