Default 06+ TP w/Check engine light

I have a straight pipe with the CEL-FIX and my check engine light came on. This is the 3rd time it has happenend. I let it go and the light goes away.

What might be the cause of this.

your deduction skills are amazing!

btw. He mentioned he has the CEL fix already.

I'm gonna guess that your ECU doesn't like your CEL fix initially. Is it a homemade test pipe or aftermarket?

It seems more of the 06+ (esp from Cali) are responding to weather conditions differently (humidity, etc.).

So far, most of the successful setups have used the blox or T1r o2 spacer.

You can also put back the stock cat and go get the TSB to remap the ecu. May fix it.

ditto with the invidia, i have a home-made fix (which took me 4 hours to drill, so just spend the money to get the CEL fix elsewhere) i have an 07 now and have had no problems with CELs being thrown at me...

btw i'm not incompetent, i just had a crappy drill bit that took forever to drill the metal away on the antifoulers.... just wanted to get that out there lol

I had the CEL go away when i disconnected my battery. I waited 30 sec hooed it back up and it was gone. What if i add some washers to the CEL to raise it up a little think that will work.

hrm... has anyone tried the Blox from inlinefour.com and it was successful with no CEL? I'm talking to owners with 06+ s2k. I tried the method of buying spark plug anti-fouler from autozone. I bought 4 of them and placed it on my berk's testpipe w/CEL fix and it still threw a CEL. My last luck will be with this blox from inlinefour website.
