Looks good so far. Once I see how you put it on and everthing, I might even consider making something similar for mine.

Do you really want to block that much of the radiator off? Does not seem like a good plan, unless you live in a cool climate.

It's honestly not much more than what a normal airbox snorkel blocks, so I dont really see it being a problem.

It is not a big problem. This design covers the entire right side of the radiator. The snorkels only cover half of this area. Personally, I live in the desert, and would not want to block that much area off, which is just imo.

I agree it will only be 8 inches wide...

Well i got done testing my model with the the two "side fins" on it and it fit just as i thought. Very snug because of the AC line and support bar (I have an Ap2). The only way that model would work is if i moved the AC line and removed the support bar.

So i am going to create another model and try again in a few minutes. Here is a picture of the next design and me working hard....

Yeah just looking at the sketches of his again, I see he is going to extend it over the whole radiator as where the snorkel is around the top grill portion, and still has the whole bottom half of the radiator exposed.

Well once you get it completed, drive it around for a week or so before you give a review on it. Just to make sure everything is good.

Alright i took some pictures of the more basic cardboard model on the car still a little things i need to change/think about...

This is the first thing that i had to do no big deal. move this cord to the back...

hose 2 by bnag1, on Flickr

This hole is where i based my top mounting point (for now)

scoop upper by bnag1, on Flickr

This next step is what i need to figure out but i think im going to go over the ac line instead of behined... Here are the two examples

under ac by bnag1, on Flickr

And now to see the front of the car... which is the next thing you guys have brought to my attention should i have the scoop start at the top portion of the grille to allow more air to the radiator or should i leave it the way it is?

Here is just a shot of the way the scoop will line up with the intake area. The top portion will be guided by the AUT panel...

Well i hope this has helped get my idea acrossed to everyone better im excited to hear your thoughts on the design and how i could improve it, thanks for reading
