I'm trying to set a date for the Virginia International Raceway. But I need to know who would want to go, and when the best time would be. I don't know the costs yet, but will post as soon as I find out. The brocure looks awsome, 4000' long back straight, and 3000' long front straight. Full course 3.27 miles. Located about 12 miles from Danville, VA.

...we all know better, however.

I have ridden the south side of the track on motorcycles, and I will be tacking a track school there next week on the north side. The track is awesome, very nicely laid out, and it favors good driving technique over raw horsepower. I would love to get my car out there and go to work, let me know if anything comes up about a track date.

Oh yeah, and the facilities there are also top notch, the restrooms are always clean, and the grounds are beautiful.

I have driven both the short courses and the full course. It is an awesome place. However, without adequate rollbars, I do not see how the s2000 could run there. Who would handle the insurance? I would be interested however. The s2000 is great on the track.

I'm interested. Let us know when you have more details.

If we were to go, is everyone planning on running their street tires?
