Track Day Driving School at GingerMan Raceway October 20
Hello,
Speed Trial USA is hosting a "driving school" track day at GingerMan Raceway, South Haven MI on Saturday, October 20. Cost is $130 for the day which consists of more track time than you will care to take as well as the opportunity to take instructors out with you. If you need more information, either email me or go to: www.speedtrialusa.com You can either pay on their site or in person at the track (if the event doesn't sell out!). I hope to see this communities continued support of our events.
Talk to you soon,
Brian
SpeedTrial USA, Midwest Director

I got an e mail from Tommy saying that the open track days was for Oct 24th.
I can't make either. But If you could check to see if its the 20th and not the 24th.
John. all that is needed is a Helmet. If you czan make, go. Its a real blast. Just make sure you have enough brakes with you.

Tommy was messing with people to see if they were awake! The track day is this Saturday, October 20.
As for the stock roll bar. It is ACCEPTABLE but not recommended. This means that you can drive at GingerMan on Saturday, but you have to understand that the stock roll bar does not protect you as well as an aftermarket bar will. Please understand that stock is acceptable, but you are taking a chance with your life. Harsh, but we want everyone that drove their car there to be able to drive their car home.
The exception is if you have put racing buckets in and have lowered yourself enough to have 2" of clearance above your helmet if you ran a strait edge from the windsheild to the roll bar. I believe that this is the way SCCA verifies/accepts convertibles.
Aquatic, sorry to hear that you can't make it. The weather looks like it is going to be perfect. If you can, catch us in the spring.
