Hi, I'm setting up an open marque track day at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL
for June, '06. The event will be on a weekday and will be an all-day event. Price will be around $250 depending on how many sign up. ACC is a first class facility and a very safe track with wide run-offs and no close walls. For those familiar with the track, we will have the North circuit. Price includes track rental, safety and corner workers, timing personnel and use of the timing building. Particpants will need to provide their own car, DOT approved helmet and pass a technical inspection. I anticipate a good group with a wide range of cars and drivers from novice to expert. South circuit is mostly for members only, very limited availability to non-member groups. Whole track also largely unavailable and too fast for groups including novice drivers. Weekends were prohibitively expensive. If I can get 30 drivers, I can get the price down to $200 apeice and everyone will still get plenty of track time. Thanks for allowing me to post this invite on your forum, BTW.

Just to update, HPDE at Autobahn Country Club will be on the North circuit as this is the most appropriate course for the large number of novices in our group. I can't compete with the Lotus, Ltd. event using the whole course the day before. This will be a great event for an experienced driver and a well prepared car.
My event will come in at $250 per person and will be limited to 30 people in order to maximize everyones' track time and keep the number on the track small. I will be running 3 groups @ 30 minutes each session so everyone will get 2 full hours on the track plus track touring during lunch and at the end of the afternoon sessions.
This should be a great event for everyone regardless of experience level and I will breathe easier knowing none of my novice drivers will be over 140 mph.
BTW, I've got 16 signed up now with a great variety of cars but only one S2000 so
I need your help to fill the event. Thanks.
