Hey everyone, It's about time we plan one last great meet before the snow starts to fall.

Lets everyone come up with some ideas, dates, and anything else we can do to have a meet to remember.
I know there are a lot of us out here, So lets get something going!

I'd like to do a fall colour run.

I was up in the Muskoka area last weekend, and did the drive around Lake Joseph / Rosseau and Port Carling. It is really really twisty, considering the income of the residents the roads are pristine....

Not to mention the fall colours in a week or so are going to be unreal.

Just my two cents. I'm up for nearly anything.

I tend to agree Vince, the drive thru Muskoka RD 38 from 69 to Bala alone is unbelievable.
No secret this is where I'm leaning

 

Anywhere up here is a great drive. Looking out my window I'm seeing a lot of change in the trees.

#69 to 169 is a nice drive, then 169 into Lake Joe is amazing anytime..however in a week its going to blow the mind with colour. Would be a great photo op at any one of those lakes.

Whoever wanted to at the end could stop by my shack for a BBQ and Creemore Springs Beer . Could even go Draft for such an occasion.

don't you guys just love the fall? car runs so strong in the cool temps

do you think we have the dedication of members to get together regularly - say monthly/bi-weekly?

i used to be in a VW club and we got together every week - that way you always see new faces etc. cause everyone can't make it every week, but there is enough turnover (owners) that you still had a decent turnout.

something to think about...

i've gotten together with rahul (1badride) and ed (tam s2k) about 6 or 7 times this summer - it's casual fun.

dogman, you should come down on a friday or something and a few of us could hook up for dinner or drinks .

I was just in Muskoka on Tuesday for a charity golf tournament at Rocky Crest. It was a great drive and what a beautiful golf course. Here's a thought for the golfers out there. Why don't we hook up, do a drive up to Muskoka and play a round at one of the new golf courses (i.e. Rocky Crest, St. Joseph or Mark O'Meara).
