Gregg, I dont view it as alienating other marques. I view it for what it was intended to be. A meet of S2000 owners.
If Rick-James decide to invite others thats ok by me.
But they did ask for input.
As far as the e-vite's I am sure people are smart enough to realize this is a meet for S2000's and they wouldnt show up in their civics.

We now have 33 cars signed up and with 7 weeks to go, we are certain to get over 40, which is our threshold for limiting participation in the drive to S2000s and NSXs. In fact, we're anticipating and planning for 50 S2000s alone. So I just notified the Z3 folks that we won't be able to accommodate them on the drive. I did, however, extend a welcome to the morning clinics, so they can see a real sports car up close .
Thanks for all the input -- it's been an interesting discussion. It would be nice to have a joint event in the future for all types of cars with perhaps a restriction for roadsters only, with their tops down, of course.

I think other cars are welcomed. But far as the cruz and comes to parking. S2k should be stick together. Friends and family with the cars other than STOOK should be out of the formation.

Hey, Charlie. I'm going to bring two sets of boxing gloves for you and Gregg to duke it out. The winner gets to ride in the back of the caravan in a Z3. The loser gets to drive a Z3.

At last count we have about 55 cars and 92 people. So all other cars except NSXs are banned from the drive, although anyone is welcome to visit the clinics and shop talk in the morning before the run.
