Redhead,
I thought we were supposed to call them stooks?
Glad to see your coming.
What about the damn Jasons? Anyone know? Keeney, Rhoades, you guys paying attention? Hayashi's not going to be there. Who am I going to run with? Especially since Roger dropped out .

Redhead,
I call mine stooky-poo. My little stooky-wookie.
Krazik,
Yes there is Dave. And Josh. And you with your fat Hoosiers (cheater). And many others too, like redhead if she puts on some track tires (but then who will beat strike). Some "newbies" coming also, which is great.
Who is going to beat strike? Don't make me buy some S02's and take off my front swaybar.

I can't wait to get stomped by Keeney. It seems like it's been so long (other than by Bobcat Bob at Sears who is so far out of my class as a driver he doesn't even count). Hayashi keeps coming close, but... (hope he doesn't monitor every single thread on the internet, but I suspect he does; probably with some spider search engine thing that rings a bell in his house everytime his name is mentioned on the web).
Hopefully we'll see you JR, and hopefully Keeney will get his diff. put back together (with cheating bastard ultra-lightweight parts no doubt).
As for strike, he's a professional fuzzball player and general all-around gamster, so don't feel bad about losing to him in pool. On the track it's a different story. My money's on you if you show up. But how can your car be stock? You taking all the auto-x parts off (shocks, swaybar, etc.?).

Shocks, exhaust, swaybar, and race wheels/tires have all been sold to racers around the country. I can't afford to wad up the S2K so I'm going to sell it and get a commuter and a dedicated autocross/track car. After years of autocrossing, you guys (wurth motorsports) got me hooked on this racetrack stuff!
Problem is I want the track car to be at least as fast as the S2000, and after a ton of research that's looking to be a very difficult proposition...
And to think, that at least 90% of S2000 owners will probably never experience a racetrack. Such a shame.

JZR,
Well I'm glad to hear you are thinking of sacrificing some of your autocross committment (where you can't really damage your car) in favor of road racing (where you can). Wise choice. But I'm saddened to hear your selling your S2000. Remember though, that time trialing is pretty safe and relatively riskless. It's a nice half-way point of road racing and autocross.
But, anyway, it sounds like it's too late for your S2000, so I look forward to hearing what your next car is. I don't have any suggestions, unfortunately. Miata? Turbo Miata?
Hope to see you at Spring Mt.

Actually I would really value some input from you guys on a good candidate for my criteria.
Something I could get into for $5-8k and with $15k or less in mods be able to run with a Z06 at the track. Amongst many others, I've been considering a C4 Corvette, a 944 turbo, even the bare-chassis Lotus 7 kits. There are hundreds of possibilities out there, but most cars just don't have the potential to be as good as the S2000 is stock.
Hope to see everyone at Spring Mountain, in an S2K or not!
