After polling some of the Irvine area people, looks like a good time for the next meet in this area would be March 24th (a Saturday).

While this has started out as a meet for the Irvine area people, there's no reason why anyone with an S2K can't show up!

I'd like to suggest we meet at 10:30am in the parking lot of the Big Newport Edwards Theatre located at Fashion Island, Newport Beach. Here is a map of this:

Once there, we can socialize for a bit, wait for laggers, and decide what kind of run to make. Most likely the overwhelming choice will be a nice cruise up and/or down PCH, possibly followed by a lunch, possibly followed by twisties.

Those that are familiar with the area should make suggestions regarding twisties and eateries with big parking lots. We can debate on those until the meeting date (or before if we need to make any kind of reservations).

Sound good? Any objections to the date (i.e. major sporting events on the same day, etc)? Let's see how this goes!

 

Dunno about sporting events, but there are no F1 races that weekend so I'm in!

Steve, Weseloh says that rattle/buzzing is normal. I was so happy I VTECed all the way home!

Awesome! So this sound you were hearing is the F1-ish whine from 4000 to 3000 upon decelerating right? I love that sound... we'll compare cars sometimes and see if it's the same thing I'm thinking of. Later!
