This Saturday's (July 21st) HouStook event will be the BWM hosted night-time autocross. The autocross will be conducted IN THE DARK! None of us really understand what this is going to be like. Most of us have run the autocross, during the day, and can't imagine how you run it at night...but we're all curious enough to go! So, here are the details according to the LoneStar Region's Porsche Club of America web site:

Gates open at 5 pm
Daylight practice runs begin about 7pm
Timed runs begin about 9:30pm
Event over about midnight

Helmets?!? Would a motorcycle helmet work?

I use a motorcylce helmet. I think it has to be SNELL 95+. If you don't have one, they have ones to borrow, it's not a big deal.

Hey guys-

I've been running in a Nite Series in Asheville over the last few weeks, it's a 4 event series and it's been a blast. You'll find that once your on course your so focused you won't even notice that it's dark!!

Oh! and the first event I was on street tires. Once I put the Kumhos on I put that Bimmer in his place!!!
