If anyone is interested, I was hoping to get a group together to drive down to Wanabe's meet. I plan on leaving Camarillo at around 11:00, drive the Santa Monica Mountains, and continue up PCH to the meet. Anyone else interested? Of course, the drive will be open to anyone (with an S2K) including those who aren't on Wanabe's list.

Yes, S2WOOOW already emailed me with his "plan", as follows:

Meet at 10:00 and drive through the mountains. Starting off with Potrero Rd, through Lost Valley, then south on Hwy 23, then east on Mulholland, then south on Las Virgenes, then east on Piuma and Saddle Peak, then south on Tuna Canyon to PCH.

Geez. I'm feeling giddy after reading that!

I think the plan also included lunch on the way.

I'll probably meet up with you at some point on the drive. I live in the West Valley so you'll be heading my way . I just need to decide if I want to take a trip out your way and do the whole drive or meet up with you on Muholland or thereabouts.

I'm considering driving up there then back down with the group. Depends how rounds will go that morning. I do like to drive the S2K!

How about all of us meeting up for lunch somewhere, and going off together from there? Any suggestions where, along Ron's route? (Sorry, I can't suggest anything. I have no idea where he's trying to take me!)

NOTE: TIME CHANGE. We are now planning on leaving Camarillo at 11:00PM.

PLANS ARE FINALIZED: Meet at Camarillo at 10:45 (meet place will be a coffee/bagel shop, take the Santa Rosa Rd/Pleasant Valley Rd exit off the 101, go north on Santa Rosa, take first right between the McDonalds and Chevron, enter strip mall on right, go to far end near Subway). Depart Camarillo at 11:00 and drive various canyon roads. Meet a few more at the corner of Las Virgenes and Mulholland at about 11:45 (the drive time is only a rough estimate, so if we're late, wait we'll get there). Drive more canyon roads and eventually get onto PCH near Malibu. Stop for lunch somewhere (the clock will determine were), and continue up PCH/Sepulvida to Wanabe's.

There are a total of four cars so far. Please join us if you can.
