Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance
In Jacksonville, Florida.
Amongst the Top 3 car shows in the USA -- along with Pebble Beach and Meadowbrook.

Can't say enough good things about the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance.
It was fantastic! I was truly in car heaven!
The $35 admission has got to be the biggest bargain of the century.
Weather was perfect: not a cloud in the sky, temp in the low 80s.

I passed it up to crew for a vintage racer in the show before the big 12 hr Sebring race. Got to be co-pilot for 2 laps, so it was neat. My daughter & husband live on Amelia Island. It's a cool place. The wife and I stayed there for a few days after Sebring. Did you get to the oldest bar in FL (I think that's it's claim to fame), with Bush & Rockerfeller history?

BTW, while I was there, I did go to see the bartender who invented the Pina Colada!

It's in Fernandina's Historic District - called The Palace. It's Florida's oldest saloon. It has some very interesting history when you read the menu and naturally a very interesting wood bar. A neat old place for a couple cool ones at mid-day and pretty good sandwiches as I recall.
