I just bought a VGS steering wheel / ignition and column package.. Want to see if the VGS steering column is a direct swap over. I know the splines on the wheel are different but what about the splines on the rack and pinion to the column..

 

Conversion done... if anyone else come across this in the future... yes. the VGS column is a direct swap... and no need to modify splines to fit the wheel... just swap ignition and all things over.. takes 30min - 1 hr to complete.

Is the Jdm VGS steering column a direct fit with USDM for Vgs steering wheel conversion.

I wouldn't cross your fingers for documentation since it was a short job like he said. That's usually how she goes with short jobs when you get in the flow.
