Sound deadening for road noise

Interesting picture, considering he does not have them inserted properly whatsoever. Anyway, if you want to cut the road noise get some noise cancelling earbuds. Phiaton makes great ones, but Bose make the best.

I recently installed a subwoofer in the trunk and some components in the doors, and in order to reduce rattles and unwanted vibration and noise, deadened the trunk and doors. I followed the deadening up with a layer of 1/2 inch acoustic sound foam, and then a thin layer of 1/8 ccf. Just doing the trunk and doors like this has already created a difference. The car is noticeably quieter and most of the noise I hear now is coming from the engine and transmission. I'm planning to do the same treatment on the floor in the cabin when I swap my seats out.
Amen to that brother I still need to install a sub/ mono amp. just have components + tweeters and HU right now and the door rattle annoys me because I don't want to mistake it for slight distortion. Planning to use Stinger Roadkill for the doors, and trunk if all goes well.
How much did all that run you? and did it make it difficult to get all the panels back on?

I did it all myself so free labor
In materials... Maybe 250 or so for deadener, foam, ccf, and fiberglass resin and cloth since I built the enclosure.
I already had my sub, components and amps from my last build.
The panels actually aren't so bad to remove. The trunk panels come out fairly easy and so do the doors.
I also had a bad rattle from the sub which apparently a lot of people here have.
I was able to fix it by putting two 4" ports in the softtop tray and ccf in between the softtop tray panels.
