Default Roll Hoop Trim Glued Together?

Hey guys, quick (perhaps stupid) question. I've read through lots of info and have a pretty good indication but no confirming info answering my question about the plastic trim around each roll hoop...are the two pieces on each hoop held together simply by glue from the factory? And to put them back together do I simply need to acquire the correct adhesive for the polypropylene(sp?) plastic? There are no clips to hold those pieces together?

It is not glued together from the factor. It is more like "molded" together from the factory. Once you break the two half's apart...there is no permanent solution to keep the two parts together. Many of tried all different types of adhesive all to have them separate again over time. But you can try to glue them together, it might hold for awhile.

So what do they do for a stock replacement at a dealership? Does the trim around the roll bar come as one molded piece? If so, how do you install it around the roll hoop cuz you cant put the trim around the hoop when it is stuck together.

I believe they are sold as one, the roll hoop and the trip. Instead of buying it at a dealership you could try looking for a used set that pops up from time to time that has never been separated.

I just bought a set on eBay. Lesson learned, don't go seperating sh** if you don't know how it goes back together. Thanks for the help Shadow

You can seperate the roll hoops . And when you install them afterwards again just glue them together . We've done the same with my roll hoops .
