Default Roll bar covers

Hey guys,

I'm trying to remove most of my interior, to save a few bucks from the body shop guy when they replace my rear quarter.

Anyway I've got most of the carpet, seats and trims out. But I'm stuck on the center console and roll bar covers,

I've removed the little black screws at front, popped out the plugs at the back and unplugged the electronics.

I cant find anything else stopping It from being removed. Can any one offer assistance?

I'll post pics as soon as I get some, If you have some of your own it would be appreciated. Or if you could point me in the direction of a link that could help, I did a search but couldn't find anything useful.

I might have to give mine a call, they can be a bit weird sometimes though. I don't think they like people working on their own car.

To remove the roll hoop covers, you have to remove the roll hoops. There are two sets of two nuts for each roll hoop. Sorry, no pics.

funny i was just about to post something about this. but is it possible to swap just the roll hoop covers (say red for black or vice versa) without swapping the actual metal hoops themselves?

i'm guessing from your post airborne that either way you'll have to remove the entire roll hoop?
