Default Repairing soft top?

so i have a small tear on my soft top, its on the passenger side right above the roll hoop. its about maybe 5 millimeters long and not that wide, but if you look at it in daylight it is clearly there. i was wondering how i could repair this? is their any soft top repair kit that is sold for this type of problem? thanks ahead of time

You can yse a liquid vynal on the inside and the had stitch it to hold it.

you can also try this vinyl patch material they sell on amazon (forget the exact name, I can look it up when I get home). Flexes withe vinyl on the top as it folds and is waterproof and self adhesive.

Tear aid type B works for minor tears. For larger tears, buying a piece of soft top material (there are folks selling it here on this site) and patching it with RTV silicon is the best bet. I use this method for a rather large 3.5" tear and it's working like a charm.

Thanks guys i think i'll go with the U GLU fabric tape, just looked it up on amazon.com and it looks good. My tear isnt that big so it seems like the best solution.

For a temporary not very permanent fix use black silicon! Lol it works good enough to keep the rain out for a while if you keep the car out side while your waiting for the good stuff to fix it. : P
