Default renew seats S2k 2006

hi there,
both seats of my 2006 S2k are in bad condition, need new covers and upholstery.
Have any one recommendation where to go, not too far from Palm Coast, Fl?

thanks!

If you can do it yourself, I'd recommend these:
https://leatherseats.com/shop/specia...000-black-pkg/

I got them and they look, feel, smell OE.

hi bruthaboost,
thanks for reply, but these covers are not fit for 2006.

At the bottom of the page, click the link "More S2000 Packages" and select your year.

(From the website.)
This is NOT a cheap slip-on cover.
Black with grey center panels, although not OEM, would brighten my Boring Black(tm) interior. Like the roof professional installation may be the best option to get it right.

Here are a few pics. Apologies for the Dutch angles, the windshield is in the way. I kept the images large so you could try to get an idea of the fitment/finish. If you do these yourself, you can add seat heaters while you're there. You can see the on/off toggle switches next to the power socket. Hope these help.

Looks great, good job!

How tough was the exchange, on a scale 1-10?

Don't need seat heating, live in Fl

If 1 is changing your oil, 7 is top replacement, and 10 is an engine rebuild, I would say this is a solid 4. It's not so much hard, as it is time consuming. Since you pull the seats out and apart there aren't any access issues e.g. turning a bolt by brail in 1/4 turn increments. Also, this doesn't require expensive specialized tools and labor (ala engine rebuild).

All you need are:

Heat gun/water spray bottle to smooth/tighten the leather after you've fitted it.
Basic hand tools to remove and disassemble the seats.
Hog rings and hog ring pliers to apply the new skins.

The difficulty you may run into is the condition of the seat foam, especially the outer bucket portion of the lower seat. This foam tends to get smashed and there really isn't a great way to repair it. I just bought OE replacements. I haven't checked on the availability of these recently so your luck will vary. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions.

Thanks again, but a solid 4 is probably too much for me...
First talk to the upholstery, if they are able to redo the side parts. They worn, but in Germany i faced the same problem on 2002 s2k

and the shop there could fix it without replace it.
