Potential new source of mats?
(Hope I'm not breaking any rules here - I am in no way associated with the vendor)
I was perusing amazon and I found these mats - they are only 2 pc, but the passenger side does look to cover the hump when you browse through the reviews. Has anyone tried from this vendor before?
I also messaged the seller to see if he had any blue ones, and he directed me to his eBay page, which does have more colors available, but no specific photos for the S2000:

Definitely doesn't cover the hump. Just looking at the shape you could tell. But to verify I saw some customer photos and it doesnt.
Honestly, just to prevent carpet wear on the hump I recommend mats that do cover it. I had the OEM mats way too long and now the hump has a small tear on the driver's side. I've since upgraded to the black euro 4 piece mats which cover it, but if I had done it earlier that tear wouldn't have happened.
