Default Pole position questions for tall/bigger individuals

Have done many hours of research about this seat but have a few specific questions. I am 6'3, 230ish lbs, 36" ish waist, 18" wide shoulders. Definitely longer in the legs.

Got a 02 AP1 and have the BYS seat bracket currently, the lowered seating position is nice but there is absolutely no thigh support at all and it causes me to be very uncomfortable even on shorter drives.. To the point where I may consider selling the car.. My lower back is also uncomfortable maybe because of the seat pan changing the lumbar support height.. I am looking at getting a pole position ABE seat for the extra hip room

What I want to know is:
- Does the PP seat offer better thigh support? I assume the seat bracket can be adjusted upwards on the front to adjust angle.. The PP seat seems to be longer then the OEM seat from photos I have seen
- Does it offer more legroom over the OEM seat? Can it be positioned further back?
- Is there options to add some kind of lumbar? I assume there can be some padding added to the back of the seat

I will most likely be using the PCI adjustable rail with no slider to get it as low as possible.. Any other suggestions I would love to hear it

I had the BYS rail on mine for a few years, like you thought it wasn’t comfortable on long drives. I switched to Pole Positions in 2013 and have been happy ever since. I’m 5’11”, slightly less weight than you.
I’m on buddy club rails, have them set at a reclined position but nothing silly. Legroom is improved in that I cannot have the seat all the way back on the rails or I can’t reach the pedals safely, definitely did not have that issue with the stock seat, I had mine all the way back, sitting more upright with the seat-back.

Thanks for the reply, how low does that buddy club rail go? The sliding feature would be nice incase a friend wants to drive. I assume the comfort is alot better for longer drives.. I have never had a fixed back before. I know there is some negatives getting in and out but I think I can live with that if the driving comfort is improved

Fairly low for the BC rail, drivers side is pretty much on the floor, definitely wouldn’t want to be any lower (for me).
I never had a fixed back before either and was hesitant but zero regrets since. The Pole Positions is one of my favorite mods on the car.

Not the best pic, but it gives an idea of how low you sit
