I've gotten lots of comments on the seats this year. I'm so used to them now I've got no problems tossing it sideways at any and every opportunity, even on new tires.

Just put this black sticker on:

When I bought my sparcos, my older bro wanted to throw my stock seats into his wrx. I am sure it would have looked great!!

JDM sti seats are way tighter than USDM Sti seats. definitely try them out before dismissing them as the same.

If you fit well in the OEM S2K seat, go for it. Its all about fitment for you. Personally I think they would look kind of ugly and wouldn't be worth the effort, cause I'm not a fan of leather. OEM Recaros would look nicer.

yeah a bit of a necro thread bump... bu i signed up on this site just to say that whoever was saying that there's no difference between the JDM and USDM STi seats, please stop talking.

Go sit in a shitty usdm sti seat, and then go sit in a JDM sti seat, and THEN speak.

the JDM seat is significantly narrower, and has higher bolsters than the usdm, the usdm seat was made for fat usdm people.

Also, having owned an Evo 4, Evo 7, Version 4 STi, and 2005 usdm sti, I can tell you that the JDM sti seat is the narrowest of them all, and the foam used in the seat is much stiffer than the Recaros in the evo, and therefore feels much more supportive.

just thought id stop the spread of mis-information.

to OP: nice seats! Version 7 STi seats are my favorite out of them all, the shape/size is the same as the early jdm wrx/sti seats, but has the nicer blue and black color scheme.

I used to have a Wrx so I know those sets are super comfortable but IMO it just doesn't look right in the s. looks too big and bulky

No, the stock STI rails were customized and the tabs for the S2K were added.
