Adding to this thread in case anyone is looking to touch up their seats.

IMHO, I would not recommend trying to touch up with kiwi polish or dye- I tried and it didn’t blend well. Only way it works is if you dye the whole thing and I’m not sure I’d like how that looks.

I think most people’s best bet is to clean and condition your leather seats- I use leather masters and think it’s awesome, especially the conditioner. Steam cleaning even better.

When your seats are just falling apart I would resort to these methods of dye the whole thing or just replace it. In other words, don’t go with spot fixes.

I am sorry to hear that my suggestion did not work out for you. From what I know of the history of my car, it was garaged its entire life. Perhaps minimal sun fading enabled the black dye to blend in better with the existing seat color? I don't know. But I did not have to cover the entire seat with it to get satisfactory results.

@MAVTS2k no knock on you or others here. The community is great. Part of the problem is that I'm OCD when it comes to cars.

Do you have a pic of the seat you could share, especially where it blends or compare touched up section to not touched up section? I'm genuinely curious. Perhaps it was the overall condition of my seats? Even though they are in really good shape.

Might take me a while to get decent photos - car is still in winter storage. Would need to get it in direct sunlight for the photos to be representative. I will try.
